The Challenge
A large biomedical company that specializes in diagnostics and life sciences had been working on a revolutionary product that would radically reduce the amount of time needed to screen cell cultures during cell line selection. The client was constrained by limited software development resources and lacked expertise in the necessary tools and technologies. Rather than wait to recruit necessary resources, or raid other internal projects, they decided to hire consultants with the necessary skills and experience to get started immediately.
The Solution
To support the client, Triple Crown successfully deployed seven resources within a swift two-week timeframe. Integral to this solution was our commitment to streamlining the hiring and onboarding process for the client through an elevated level of service. Our approach prioritized efficiency without compromising the high caliber of talent that was engaged.
The project was supported by a team of the following experts:
- A Scrum master
- A product owner
- Backend software developers skilled in C#, .Net, Linux service, Kernel development, and Scheme
- Database developers specializing in SQL Server/Entity Framework
- Frontend developers experienced in React, JavaScript, and NodeJS
- Software verification and test automation experts utilizing Python, Selenium Webdriver, and XRay.
The Result
The client initiated the project without the need to recruit and hire new permanent staff. They capitalized on state-of-the-art software and technologies, which their existing staff lacked experience with. Furthermore, permanent staff underwent cross-training with Triple Crown staff, acquiring new skills such as product ownership and Scrum methodologies. Compliance with ISO9001:2015, 21CFR Part 11, and GMP standards, along with cutting-edge privacy and security measures, was ensured.
The collaboration with the Triple Crown team demonstrated a profound level of expertise and innovation in testing and development. This partnership resulted in a successful completion of the project allowing the biomedical client to successfully move forward with their next phase.
